Summertime!!!

As if you couldn't tell I have been so busy I haven't had time to update this blog....It was on of my "New Year Goals" but I seem to be failing! Oh well, better late than never, right? So, since I am so behind on my updates I am going to have to generalize this Summer.
JUNE.....As it began to get so hot outside we started swimming and swimming and swimming, we swam every chance we could!!! Jackson loves to be in the water but hates to get his hair or ears wet, so we pretty much float around! Collin loves the water and has so much fun, his pail skin though has to be slathered in sunscreen!! Then we had Jackson's 3rd birthday!!! I can not believe how fast time goes by. We had a Toy Story birthday party, Buzz and Woody and the whole gang. We saw TS3 prior to the party which only enhanced Jackson enthusiasm for the party. Who would have know the day after the outrageous Toy Story party he would inform us his new favorite character was Batman!! Collin quickly learned to love Toy Story. This is the beginning of Jackson morphing into any character at any moment!! Jackson's birthday was on the 20th and Collin turned 9 months on the 23rd. A few days after we hit the 9 month mark Collin decided it was time to start walking!! I couldn't believe it, he is the littlest 9 month old I knew, like in the 2oth percentile, yet this tiny little sweet boy decided to start walking like a champ. We also had Collin's Baby dedication this month! Such a precious time in our life to celebrate the gift that God has given us!

July and August...As the temperature continues to get hot we continued to stay as cool as possible until we decided to go to Florida for vacation...Disney World here we come!! Collin took Florida on better than the rest of us...he would just sit in his stroller and took everything, his favorite was the blue slushies his G-daddy would give him and he loved the rides!! Jackson loved to look at everything at Disney World yet hated and cried on every ride we took him on. He couldn't wait to meet Buzz, Woody and Jessie (who he has informed us is his Girlfriend). We waited and waited in line and finally made Jackson's dreams come true!!

When we returned from vacation we signed the papers and bought a new home!! We were in desperate need of more room with two growing and busy boys and that is exactly what we got...we are truly so blessed!! This new home needed a little TLC...okay maybe a lot!! We painted and painted and painted and cleaned and laid tile and had carpet put down and moved in our beautiful spacious new home!!! Pictures of the house to come when we are moved in!
